Job Description

The ECD role leads the creative/ideas functions within aJack Morton office and serves as a senior creative director on targeted pitchand client opportunities. This role is accountable for hiring and nurturingtalent, shaping and inspiring an award-winning creative department, and workingin partnership with the Managing Director and other discipline leads to growthe office client roster and annual revenues.

Key Accountabilities:


  • As a part of the management team in the office, you will reportdirectly to the Managing Director and help build the revenue, market reputationand culture required for continuous growth
  • As part of the senior creative leadership of the agency, youwill work closely with the Chief Creative Officer to help realize the globalcreative vision for Jack Morton
  • Lead pitch teams and win new business for your assignedoffice
  • Serve as a manager, mentor and team member—directing,inspiring and doing
  • Hire, train and develop a team to deliver on our creative vision
  • Inspire commitment, loyalty, pride, and spirit in theorganization, making Jack Morton a great place to work
  • Bring passion for new creative thinking and bold ideas toour clients and the wider agency
  • Network with our global creative teams to share ideas,knowledge and resources
  • Serve as a representative on the Global Creative Council, ifnominated


  • Foster a culture and environment conducive to producing boldexperience-based ideas for the world's greatest brands
  • Champion bold, strategically-led ideas and creativeapproaches to solving our clients' problems
  • Lead a wider creative, design, technology, and productionteam to bring ideas to life in a broad range of mediums (physical, traditional,digital and social)
  • Serve as a creative director for selected assignments and/or clients

Creative Execution

  • Work closely with the creative and production communities toensure your ideas are as powerful in reality as they were when conceived
  • Own the creative product that leaves the office, continuallycritiquing the quality of all creative output


Experience we're looking for:

  • 10 years with a strong background in the world of visual orlive/physical storytelling and creativity around brands
  • Proven leadership ability
  • A track record of producing award winning work at one ormore top-tier awards festivals (Effie, Cannes, Clio, D&AD, LondonInternational, One Show, etc.)
  • Prior success at a leading brand or experiential agency, ora progressive advertising/ideas/digital agency
  • Demonstrates the ability to tell stories about brands tomultiple audiences, through breakthrough visual or experiential design andcreativity, with strong digital savvy.
  • Passionate about brands, ideas, stories, design andevents/live/environmental, and a fascination with how to apply that passion tomarketing campaigns and other brand experiences
  • Exhibits the following Jack Competencies: Business Vision,Cross-Organizational Collaboration, Ingenuity, Organizational Sophistication,Communication Ideas, Accountability for Results, Client Focus, DevelopingOthers and Team Leadership
